One of our convictions is that of team leadership.

We currently have a team of  7 elders and 58 deacons as well as a number of new leaders in training.  The elder’s and deacon’s, who are married couples work as husband and wife teams in fulfilling their call as leaders.

We believe that the Bible's teaching on leadership is that each local church should be governed by an eldership team. This team is the highest human authority in the local church. Our conviction is that the Bible teaches that leaders should lead their people by example and not by controlling or dominating them. Leaders are there to train, equip and release others to reach their full potential in God while giving a clear sense of vision.

We believe the Bible teaches that elders are to be ordained by a person with a recognised apostolic call on his life.

Deacons likewise are leaders called by God to work with the elders in serving the church in all the varied needs and ministries of the body.  The elders of the church appoint deacons.
