If you are you planning a visit to our church, we are very excited to have you.
Here are some frequently asked questions, answered for you.
What should I wear?
Anything! Shorts longs, jeans, dresses, skirts, ties, jackets, suits, toga’s, sari’s, and clown suits are all welcome. Open shoes, closed shoes, boots, high heels, slops and waders are all welcome!
What happens on a typical Sunday?
Open with announcements: One of the home cell leaders will open with the relevant announcements
Praise and worship: We have any one of 4 worship leaders leading this part of the service on any given Sunday. We will normally sing about 6 songs, not in the traditional sense of 3 praise and 3 worship, but a comfortable mixture of praise and worship woven into each other.
Feel free to stand, sit, kneel or dance during this time. You are also welcome to come and worship in the front of the church. You can clap and raise your hands and sit with your arms folded, this time is about you reaching out to God
The bible tells us that we enter His presence with thanksgiving in our hearts, we enter his courts with praise
Prophetic: During the Praise and worship there will be people that feel they have a word of encouragement from the Lord, meant for the congregation, you might be one of these people. If this happens they will come to the front of the church and ask the elder on duty if they or he can share it..
Tongues: You might also find someone speaking in a strange language that you have never heard. This is “tongues” and in the church setting it will be followed by an interpretation. This is a special way that God will use to communicate with us, his Bride
Tithes & Offerings: As a church we believe in the principals of Tithes and offerings, we however do not bring a message with this regard in the Sunday meeting. The opportunity is provided however for you to sow into the ministry when the baskets come around between the singing and the preaching.
Word: Then the message will be preached . The message is normally brought by any one of the 7 elders. If you would like an audio copy of the sermon you can either order a cd at the back of the church or you can download them from the internet for free.
Prayer: After every service there is an opportunity for people to come and receive prayer for anything that they need.
Fellowship: There is a special table at the back of the church for all first time visitors, please come and join us, we would love to get to know you better over tea or coffee and a pastry.
There is always coffee and tea available free of charge and meals can be purchased after the meetings as well.
We hope you will enjoy your visit. There are separate facilities for the children during the morning service. Unfortunately there is no children’s ministry or baby sitting service available in the evenings.
And there are mother’s rooms for nursing mothers and mothers with small children
Pls have a look at our kids ministry under the ministries tab on our home page for more information.(or hyperlink)
